 Phase one treatment

During the early phase of growth and development, children's teeth and jaw usually develop the signs of crooked and misaligned teeth. The phase one treatment provides early management in such ways that it allows the teeth and jaws to develop and erupt accordingly and will ensure to provide enough room for the future permanent teeth in advance. In this phase one treatment, a thorough and comprehensive examination of the teeth and jaw is done using radiographs, photographs, and teeth impressions. These examinations lead to the formation of a patient-centered treatment plan. If any discrepancy between teeth and jaw is noted, early orthodontic treatment will be recommended. Sometimes it is best to allow the teeth to completely erupt and then proceed for the orthodontic procedures. 

Phase two treatment

When the teeth fully erupt in the mouth, the second phase of treatment begins. It includes refreshing certain assessments and comparing the old and new assessments. This comparison allows us to note the changes that happened after the complete eruption of the teeth. The aim of the phase two treatment is to ensure all the teeth, jaw and lips are in concordance with the opposing ones so that it performs the functions properly. Usually, the braces are recommended if the teeth are not aligned.
